A new fight on the horizon

Kind of funny that it was my husband that started this blog and here I am doing the posting with all the love and admiration that can be given to any one human being. He started this blog for me to be one of the many to have a voice for this phantom called lupus. A disease that destroys your body, mind, and spirit.

He had an appointment this morning with the doctor (PA-C) for his labs for clearance for his knee surgery tomorrow for his ACL. His white cell count came back high and because of other symptoms he has been experiencing he himself is now being tested for RA and lupus!

I know what our plan of action will be. Once he will be able to travel we will once again leave the country and seek treatment with the doctor that is treating me for lupus. When you are the one to experience the question of do I have it or not, it is amazing at how bleek things can become. You want to question God. You want to question anyone that may have an understanding for what is happening.

I have been on my treatment for 3 months and I am getting better and stronger for this fight that I WILL WIN! I know that our life is complicated and is very hard at this time. I pray for my husband Fred to see that there is an end to all of this. I believe that with the right treatment and trying my own weaknesses with strenghth and perserverance and all the love that can be given I WILL WIN this war. Not only for myself, but for my husband, and children.

Stopping Lupus

I am married to the most wonderfull woman in the world. I met my wife twenty eight years ago. Thats when our journey begins, the begining of lupus. All of these years she has been battling this disease,a disease that takes form of many other diseases. As one knows who is fighting this ailment,that not many doctors can pin point or even give an explanation of what is going on with lupus stricken individuals. Very frustrating this is, I feel the anger that those may experience with what we call the wolf syndrome. Lupus in latin translates to wolf, or as many of us may know it as the butterfly syndrome, because of the rash that is produced around the eyes and cheek areas.
We have seen endless amount of doctors and so called specialtists that can't even give us answers or a proper consultation that last no more than five to ten minutes, how can anything ever be diagnosed with these types of appoitments. We all know our medical system is very limited because of our pharmaceutical companies. Which has led us to alternative meds. We have found an awsome doctor who cures this and many other diseases with an antigen treatment.
